Family support across the Highlands and Moray
Helping families stay connected.
Supervised contact, supported contact, handovers and transport, for families in every part of the Highlands and Moray. Sessions are personal, planned around your child, and delivered with care and without judgement.

Planned around the child
Every arrangement is planned around the child, and every referral is handled personally.
Supervised contact
One person stays with the family throughout every session and keeps a written record, agreed with you in advance.
Supported contact
A lighter presence nearby while you spend time together, for families where confidence rather than safety is the worry.
Supervised handovers
The exchange is managed by a familiar, impartial adult, with staggered timings so parents never need to meet.
Transport to contact
Children collected and returned by the same trusted adult, so long distances stop being the obstacle. Quoted on distance.
Parental guidance and child support
Practical help with routines, transitions and communication, alongside steady support for the child through change.
Neurodivergent families
Predictable sessions, familiar low sensory settings and the same person every time.
What to expect
- 1
You get in touch
Call, send a WhatsApp message or email. Tell me as much or as little as you want to. Nothing is decided in that first conversation.
- 2
We plan together
We agree the level of support, the setting, the timings and what will be written down, with the cost confirmed before anything begins.
- 3
Sessions begin
Sessions run to the plan, in your own area where possible, with the same person each time and clear communication throughout.
A word from Aimee
You are not being judged here. Whatever has happened, and however you are feeling about it, you will be met with warmth and respect. Sessions are planned around your child, in familiar places where possible, and I will explain exactly what to expect at every stage.
The whole of the Highlands and Moray
Sessions are arranged in your own area, so contact fits around school, work and home.

About Aimee
Aimee spent 24 years in health and social care with NHS Highland and The Highland Council before setting up Bringing Families Together.
Every referral is handled personally. You speak to the person who will be in the room, from the first phone call onwards, and the same person is there at every session.
The service was built with neurodivergent children and neurodivergent parents specifically in mind, and sessions are designed around the family in front of us.
More about AimeeHow Aimee works
